Aly Al-Garem

Aly Ibn Saleh Ibn Abdul-Fattah Al-Garem is an author and a poet. He was born in Rashid city in Egypt. He started learning reading and writing in Rashid and then completed his secondary education in Cairo. Then, he traveled to England to complete his education and after that he returned to Egypt.
Al-Garem occupied many educational posts; he was assigned as a senior supervisor of Arabic language and then deputy of the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom till 1924. He was also chosen as a member in the Arabic Language Academy and participated in many scientific and cultural conferences.
He wrote most of his poems for national occasions, and meanwhile, his poems contain a romantic trend that appeals to the audience feelings.
Al-Garem wrote a collection of poems into four parts, and other books such as “Fares Bani Hemdan”, “Malak”, and “Gharat Al-Rashid”.
