Egypt takes part in the Vienna international tourist fair, the Ferien-Messe Wien 2016.

Inaugurating on Thursday, the four-day event is considered an important gathering for tourism and tour operators.

Egypt's ambassador in Vienna and its representative to the international bodies, Khaled Shama'a, accompanied by the country's tourist councilor in Vienna and Germany, Tamer Marzouk, will inaugurate the Egyptian pavilion in the fair.

Marzouk said the event was the largest annual tourist fair held in Vienna, and represented a good opportunity for holding meetings with tour operators and air carriers to introduce their offers.
