Monday، 07 March 2016 - 05:21 PM

Africa 2016 business forum is held in the Egyptian Red Sea resort city of Sharm el Sheikh on February 20-21 under the sponsorship of President Abdel Fatah El Sisi. It is organized under the umbrella of the African Union Commission.
Invitations have been sent to 21 African heads of state and chiefs of economic groupings as well as 96 African ministers. The forum offers a new mechanism of contact among African countries to achieve economic integration.
Africa 2016 forum is the second step of Egypt's efforts to achieve regional economic integration in Africa as it comes after the historic agreement between COMESA, SADC and EAC blocs that was signed in June 2015 in Sharm el Sheikh.
