Cabinet Spokesman Hossam Qawish said on Saturday 26/3/2016 that Prime Minister Sherif Ismail's meeting with members of the House of Representatives was very important for the Cabinet's program planned to be presented to the parliament on Sunday 27/3/2016.
Qawish added that Ismail listened to the lawmakers' proposals and problems facing their constituencies.
The Cabinet's program will focus on seven main issues: preserving national security, entrenching democracy, enhancing economic performance, achieving social justice, serving citizens, developing infrastructure, implementing administrative reforms and restoring Egypt's leading role at the regional and international levels, Qawish said.
He added that the program will also review issues of increasing the spending on education, health and scientific research and achieving justice in wage distribution.
Qawish added that the new ministers were informed with the Cabinet's program after they were sworn in.
