The Reconstruction of the Middle and Western North Coast Body shed light on the implementation of four major projects at the middle Northern Coast during the Fiscal Year 2012/2013, and two projects at the Western Northern Coast during the current FY.
The 4 projects at the middle North Coast are as follows:
1- The first links Al-Sadat City to Cairo/Alexandria agricultural road at a length of 16 kilometer.
2- According to the body, the second project includes implementing the first phase of Abo al-Rous/Motoubus/Fowa bayou at a 34 kilometer length and 21 meter width. This bayou includes two-way directions and each direction has 3 lanes.
3- The third one will be cleansing and deepening Borollos Lake in its first phase to restore its role as a source of fish.
4- The forth is implementing the ring way at the west of Al-Gamaleya at 2.7 km length and 17 m width to be specified for heavy transport between the production centers in the governorates and Damietta airport directly.
As for the two projects at the western North Coast:
1- The first is implementing Siwa/Al-Wahat Al-Bahareya road at 360 km length and 11 m width to make use of the arable lands and link Siwa, Al-Wahat Al-Baharaeya, the New Valley and Cairo to each others. This is with the aim of encouraging safari tourism, therapeutic health and contributing to the development of tourism.
2- The second project aims at increasing the efficiency and developing Al-Gara/Be'r Al-Nos road at 110 km length to link Al-Gara oasis with Matrouh/Siwa road.
