On Wednesday March 29, 2006, Egypt will see a total sun eclipse. The phenomenon is expected to begin at 12:38 PM and it will last for 4 minutes and 7 seconds. Al-Salloum will see total sun eclipse, yet it will be partial in other cities.
The Ministry of Tourism and other 10 ministries plus Governorate of Matrouh have completed preparations for this event. It is worthwhile to mention that only three countries in the world will see the total sun eclipse namely: Egypt, Turkey and Libya.
